ACADEMIC TESTING OPTIONS
Since the pandemic, most institutions have suspended the submission of ACT/SAT test scores as part of their application process, however a number of them still require score submission with an application. Check each of the institutions you are considering submitting applications to so you know whether test scores are required with your application.

SAT

The SAT will be offered to Onalaska High School Seniors on in October of 2026
The SAT is an optional test. Students wishing to take the test should sign up in the College & Career Center to be put on the preregistration list.

PSAT/NMSQ
TESTING DATE: OCT Date to be determined
The PSAT will be offered to Onalaska High School Juniors in October of 2026. The PSAT is the required entrants test to be taken your Junior Year to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The PSAT is an optional test. Students wishing to take the test should sign up in the College & Career Center to be put on the preregistration list.

ASVAB
TESTING DATE: NOV 12, 2026
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a heavily researched and well-respected aptitude test developed by the Department of Defense. It measures a young adult’s strengths and potential for success in military training.
The ASVAB will be administered to ALL OHS Juniors.
