As we approach the end of the first semester on January 30, students should take time to review and finalize their High School & Beyond Plan (HSBP) to ensure it reflects their current goals, interests, and post-secondary plans. Students will be given time during advisory to make sure everything is completed before the end of the month. This is also an important time to complete a credit check to confirm they are on track for graduation and aware of any remaining requirements.
Families are encouraged to review these items together, discuss future goals, and reach out to the counseling office with any questions or support needs. Parents/guardians will receive an email from their student asking them to approve the HSBP—this is a required step for submission. Staying informed now helps set students up for a successful second semester and a clear path toward graduation.
