Principal Corner

Greetings Logger Families,

I have had the opportunity to meet many of you already.  What I have learned is that we have a great community and equally great students.  This first post is for senior parents.

It is hard to believe but your 12th grade student(s) may soon be graduating. As they work to finalize their High School graduation requirements you can help them with their college goals.  Below are some initial steps you should take to begin this process.

Fun Fact:

According to the Educational Research and Data Center 45% of our graduates attended some type of post-secondary education (college/tech program etc.).  With the majority of our students attending Washington State University for an initial four year college or Centralia College for an initial two year.

If you and your student want to attend a college/tech school after graduation now is the time to get started, if you have not already done so.  You can begin by:

1)    Completing the online application of the school of your choice.

2)    Go to the FASFA parent night on Thursday, December 19th at 5:30pm to begin the financial aid process. (For more information contact Ron Murphy)

3)    Ask questions!  We are available to you for any question that you may have.  Please let us know what we can do to help.

There are links to information on the Counseling site.  Please take some time to look at this page for Scholarship and other information regarding you and your student’s college requirements.
